Pop Ups on our web site? Nope. None. Nada. Zilch...

Note: Some current Blocker programs are so overzealous that they mistake the above navigational bar's coding as a pop up. All the above coding does is change the color of each navigational block and add in an arrow -- this is called a "rollover" NOT a "pop up". There is no additional coding and there are no additional ads. This problem does not happen on a Macintosh, nor in Firefox (either Platform). However, MicroSoft is aware of the problem and claims that it'll be fixed in their next update. So surf our site with the peace of mind that the webmaster doesn't give a flying f*^%& what's on your computer or wants to throw in advertising for some lotion, potion or adult toy!

Welcome to The Wire!

Dingoman, Bobcat Tepes, Kitty Tetons, Stargazer and Trixie Golden Girl welcome you to The Wire! The Wire is the official information source of the Balanced Rock Regulators, LLC. The new Cowboy Action Shooting Group in Carbon County. We are a Limited Liability Company, we are fully insured and we are Single Action Shooting Society (SASS) approved.

Obviously, the Balanced Rock Regulators' website is in its first beta testing. We welcome any suggestions and contributions that you may have after you look at it. Here is a link to the site. http://balancedrockregulators.com

-=> Our first shoot is Saturday, July 21, 2007 with setup at 8 am and with the shooting beginning promptly at 9am. We will be shooting 6 scenarios. We don't do all "Point Blank Gallery Speed Shoots." We will be breaking in the long range and there will be some scenarios that will be a challenge. But it will be fun. The shoot will be at Carbon County's new mondo gun range that has been featured in Shoot!Magazine and the Chronicle as well as TV. Driving directions to the Cowboy Town are at the bottom of the front page of the Regulators' website. Lunches will be "Standard Potluck", however, because of the heat Kitty will be making something she calls "Cowboy Subs." If you can't make it to our first shoot, we will be shooting every third Saturday of the month. Our next one will be August 18, 2007.

-=> The next Officer's/Shoot Planning Meeting is Thursday, July 19 at 7pm at Dingoman's house. For directions, call Dingoman at 435.637.7188. "Robert's Rules of Order" apply and meeting minutes will be taken, audio recorded and an Official Agenda will be provided at the door. If you miss the meeting, don't worry as the minutes will be posted on the Regulators' website.

Membership to the Balanced Rock Regulators is $24 per year with $8 per month for monthly shoots, and $10 per month for non-members. Shooters new to the sport of Cowboy Action Shooting get their first shoot free.

I know that this is a bit abrupt, but after talking to many members and many more entities... this is the first step toward making Cowboy Action Shooting in Carbon County into a recreation sport about "fun" and the Spirit of the Game" and not about "ulcers" and a "dwindling membership." Let's have fun and we'll see you on the Range!

Sauntering into the cyber-sunset...

P.S. I know that there are some problems with the e-mailing list, I think that I have worked out most of the kinks, but if you are receiving double copies or you think someone should be added, or you wish to be removed, or are having problems reading Rich Text e-mails, please don't hesitate to contact me. And feel free to forward this email to anyone who you feel would be interested in having a fun time at Cowboy Action Shooting.
